Title: ATE Applications Engineer
Location: Apolent Corporation, Santa Clara, CA
Job Description:
- Migrate test programs to Teradyne Flex ATE platforms. Develop prototypes for test hardware for digital device programs on ATE. Tester Load board development and full responsibility for all design coordination with board vendors, test method design and development, and all test code development for Teradyne Flex platforms or Verigy 83K.
Minimum Required Skills:
- Strong background in digital semiconductor test engineering.
- Strong background on Teradyne Flex platforms or Verigy 83K testers.
- Need a 4 year degree or equivalent experience involving electronics hardware or device fabrication.
- Work hours: 40 hours/week, hours will vary, must be able to work in day/evening/weekend shifts

Job Description:
- Develop test software for digital/analog devices: develop source code in C/C++ programming and develop test software content management; develop test strategies to improve product yield; perform integration testing, software validation to support high volume production test environment.
Minimum Required Skills:
- B.S. - Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
- 5 yrs progressive experience in product test engineering

- Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) using UML. Develop solutions using Java, messaging, XML on UNIX/Windows; Data Modeling with ER notations. Build environment; performance tuning.
